| I have something going on in my tank and need a bit of help ... One of my fish a full grown lupi his eye look like he had an accident. It started to get swollen and was whitish. Not the eye too much but around the eye ... one eye and soon after the other, and about 3 weeks later with the eyes being ... |

| The LFS, World Class Aqurium (on flatbush ave and flatland ave in brooklyn) has metal stands for two 70, so i'm sure they will have for 55 too ... as mentioned a double stand the top tank is set higher then a stand made for one tank ... |

if you are not going to breed them to give away or sell the fry ... i would not care what the fish do ... put in a few eyebiters and fry will only be food ...
Of course if you are looking to breed, then i'll let someone else answer you ... |

| Sorry to hear you hurt yourself ... being out of work really sucks ... i mean the time off is nice but to be in pain and no cash coming in sucks .. As for the tank, it is bad news and never easy to lose fish, but there are plenty of fish and with the auction coming up, think of all the fun buying ne... |

| I have used bearing grease, it worked like glue but it was a bit tough to spread ... heating it would work to make it a bit easy ... Vasiline works too and cleans up a lot easier and spreads easier too ... with a window squeezee (sp) you can get it to lay flat with a min of bubbles ... On a plastic ... |

As it stands that statment above is not true ... it is the only method if you are not going to break your tank down. And as i said, what about all the dead snails that the copper method leaves behind? Do you guys think that is not a concern? |

| Al, no doubt that will work but what about all the dead snails ... i know when i had them i had a lot of them. The day i cleaned the tank and shifted all the sand i got a Qt soup container filled almost 3/4 with these snails. This is in a 50 gal breeder ... i am not so sure i would want all those de... |
